Choose any heat-safe glass or ceramic vessel you love.
Fill with sand wax
Pour the granular wax in to your desired height.
Insert the wick
Push a cotton wick into the wax, leaving about 1 cm above the surface.

Choose your fragrance
Pick a skin-safe candle fragrance or essential oil.
Add to the wax
Drop the oil directly onto the sand wax and gently stir through.
Let it absorb
Allow a few minutes for the granules to absorb the scent.
Light & enjoy
Light the wick — the warmth releases the fragrance as it burns.
Never add fragrance oil to a burning candle. Always add fragrance before lighting and allow the oil to absorb first. Scent throw depends on the oil, vessel size and room temperature.

Refreshing Your Candle
Snuff the flame, let the wax cool, trim or replace the wick, then top up with fresh sand wax. You can scoop out and replace the wax nearest the wick at any time.
Extinguishing the Candle
Always use a candle snuff or place a non-flammable lid over the vessel. Avoid blowing, which can scatter the granular wax.
Factors That Affect Burn Time
Room temperature, humidity, vessel size, wick length and drafts all influence how long and how evenly your candle burns.
Safety Tips
